Most Reliable Cars: Honda Jazz and Toyota Avensis
A new survey has found that Honda Jazz and Toyota Avensis have been voted as the best cars on the market. This was because they spend 0.17 days a year in the garage for repairs
They were followed by Suzuki Swift - 0.18 days, Kia Picanto - 0.24 days and Peugeot with 0.24 days.

Meanwhile, BMW 3 series convertible is said to be the worst car in the market, another of its brands, the BMW 5 Series Touring, came in third position behind Land Rover Discovery 3.

According to the latest research by Which? the BMW 3 series convertible spends almost a day longer off the road every year due to faults than any other car.

The 2012 Which? Car Survey, questioned nearly 40,000 drivers about more than 47,000 cars that they owned, revealed that the cars aged four to eight years old spent most time off the road.

"These cars are likely to be outside the warranty period - making repairs a potentially much greater expense," the Daily Mail quoted Which? as saying.

"Getting your car repaired at a garage can be expensive and inconvenient. So we've used exclusive Which? Car Survey data to uncover the cars that are most likely to break down - and how long, on average, they are off the road for.

"The best cars are likely to be off the road due to faults less for than 0.2 days per year. However, the worst offender - the BMW 3 Series Convertible - clocks up nearly 3.5 days in the repair garage," Which? added.
