 More Calories Burnt by Climbing Stairs Slowly
A recent study conducted by the University of Roehampton has found that climbing a flight of stairs one step at a time is more effective in burning calories than taking multiple stairs at a time.
The study found that the calories burned is about 300 calories on an average, if a person climbs five flights of stairs five times inĀ  a week, whereas if the person takes two steps at a time, the calorie loss is only 260 calories.

Researchers found that taking one step at a time while climbing stairs resulted in additional calorie loss than taking two stairs each stride.
