Nowadays even though women opt to be modern and fashionable they are becoming more open about their natural physical weakness such as stretch marks, pregnancy, body hairs or cellulite on thighs.
Kiran Gandhi a Harvard Business School graduate, participated in a race during her menstrual cycle to inspire women not to feel ashamed about their periods and instead be bold and also to promote feminine products.

Recent incidents proved that women are not afraid to show their weakness and are being bold in revealing it on social media.

Post pregnancy selfies: Many women posted their baby bump happily on to the social networking sites and few have also posted post-pregnancy photos with stretch marks. It has become a recent trend to keep a track of their pregnancy period by taking a photo shoot regularly.

At ease with body hair: Waxing was quite popular among women for over a period of time. But recently many celebrities posted pictures of themselves with body hairs especially in their arm pits. This has created a stir among Women and now they are comfortable with hairs on their body.

#ThighReading: The hashtag became a trend on a micro-blogging website. Generally women do not prefer to take photos of their thighs but recently many women have started posting photos of their thighs under the hashtag #ThighReading. This has become a trend where it has been deduced from palm reading.

No makeup selfie: The no makeup selfie was first initiated by the Cancer Research Institute in UK. It went viral on the social media similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge where many celebrities started posting photos with no makeup.

#JustATampon: The campaign was created to promote feminism where women posted pictures holding a tampon. Many games such as Tampon Run and Tampon Dodge were also made on it.
