Mexican authorities have arrested a drug baron who was known for boiling his enemies' babies alive in burning oil.
Miguel Angel Trevino Morales was wanted for murder, torture, money laundering and ordering the kidnapping and execution of 265 migrant workers.
According to the Mirror, he had a reputation for extreme violence and also ran the world's top billion-pound drug gangs.
The gang leader, known as Z-40, was arrested in during night surveillance by marines, who intercepted his truck with a helicopter close to the US border.
Government spokesman Eduardo Sanchez said not a single shot was fired, adding that authorities seized 1.3 million pounds in cash and a haul of arms.
Morales, who was head of the Los Zetas cartel, was on Mexico's most wanted list, with the US and Mexican governments offering more than 4.6 million pounds for information leading to his arrest, the report added.
