Max Life Insurance Announces a Rs 139 Crore Bonus

Max Life announced a "one time" special bonus for its policy holders.

This bonus is to be paid after Feb. 2013 on the policy's anniversary - the day the policy premium was due.

The bonus would be calculated on a percentage of the annual premium. 2.6 lakh policy holders would recieve100 per cent of their annual premium - not accounting for the premium term or policy amount

At this time, when some policy is re-instated and the policy becomes active, this policy holder would also be eligible for bonus. "We have experienced robust and profitable growth and wanted to share the result of this improved performance with our loyal policyholders," said Rajesh Sud, the CEO and Managing Director of Max Life Insurance.

Suspended policies would not be eligible.
