Many Cases of Cervical Cancer Among Young Women
Recent figures show increasing numbers of young women becoming victims of cervical cancer in England.
Women in England have been invited for screening from the age of 25 and can get themselves regularly checked every three years.

Recent statistics show that cervical cancer rates among women in their 20s have shown an upward trend. The problem is only getting worse with around nine in every 100,000 women falling victims to cervical cancer.

Women must be aware that cervical cancer is preventable with timely screening and detection. Women can work towards reducing their risk of cervical cancer by attending screening sessions, but this is one area which poses a huge challenge, as many do not take up cervical cancer screening invitations. This simple step can actually save many lives from cervical cancer
