Women Look Their Oldest on Wednesday Afternoons – Study

A study has revealed that women look their oldest every Wednesday afternoon at around 3.30 pm. And here's the reason why!

Wednesday afternoon is the time when work stress reaches its zenith, energy levels deplete the maximum and the weekend effects finally start to show !

A recent survey reveals that one in ten women find Wednesday afternoons the most stressful. The natural mid–afternoon slump along with the stress accumulated through the week makes most women look older than their age during late Wednesday afternoons.

Another reason why women look their worst on a Wednesday is that the signs of weekend alcohol indulgence finally begin to show. Friday and Saturday nights are happy hours for most women in the West, but their indulgence takes its toll during the working days–particularly Wednesday- because processing the weekend alcohol and sugar is time-consuming.

Many women hate to get back to work after the weekend, the stress makes them sleepless and this effect too becomes clearer by Wednesday afternoon! Many reach out for sugary snacks to boost their moods and lift their sagging energy levels.

However as the week unfolds they are likely to have a good time as many women feel amorous during Thursdays and most end up having sex (60%) after which they are likely to feel more relaxed, complete with a rosy glow et al ! Friday, many women believe is their best day of the week !

Several women attribute their health and feel-good to a healthy sex life, which they may be enjoying.
