Lavatories as Precious as Diamonds in Japan

Lavatories as Precious as Diamonds in Japan
This is not fictional, Japan has come out with a valuable crystal lavatory studded with more than 72,000 pieces of Swarovski. Sources say this master piece may cost more than $100,000 (£64,000).
This unique piece is exhibited in a showroom at the well known Ginza shopping district and is the brain child of Lavatory manufacturer INAX and an Austrian jeweler.

The Japanese always believed that a deity rules the lavatories and followed the truism ‘cleanliness is next to Godliness’. No wonder, the Japanese always keep their lavatories exceptionally clean.

This crystal lavatory was perhaps created to propitiate the "God of Lavatories."
