Eddie Bauer's Katabatic tent has a Goal Zero solar charger up top, a triangular piece which folds with the tent for storage, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Inside is a Goal Zero-supplied battery that when charged by Sun, could bring iPad or other USB device back to life.

The tent offers 36 sq. feet of interior space and weighs around 8 lbs.

The tent has been priced at a little over 600 New Zealand dollars.
