Karnataka Man Survives on Bricks, Mud and Gravel
This 30-year-old man from a village of Karnataka in India survives by eating bricks, mud and gravel because of a rare eating disorder called Pica.
Pakkirappa Hunagundi has been eating bricks since the age of 10. Everyday he eats almost 7 pounds of mud and one brick. He says he does not suffer from any side effects because of his rare habit.

Hunagundi’s mother, along with his family and friends, has always urged him to give up his habit. Hunagundi said, “Even if you give me fried chicken, I want mud at any cost.”

Hunagundi is determined that he will continue to eat bricks and stones. And now he is planning travel around India to showcase his ‘skill’ in order to earn some money.

“Even a tiny stone in the mouth hurts so much,” says one friend. “But he eats mud and stones every day with ease. We find extremely strange.” But he is not the only one with strange eating habits. Keyshia from New York loves to eat nappies and she says wetter the nappies, tastier they are.

This little Zach Horn feeds on his wardrobe if left alone in his bedroom. It’s not only vampires known for drinking blood. Julia Caples drinks two litres of blood from donors every day.
