Britain's Justice Hedley has banned a autistic woman from having sex.

The Judge said the woman, 29, has an IQ of 64 and the order was passed keeping her best interests in mind as she lacked the mental capacity to deny sexual intercourse. The order prevents the woman from having sex and also means that if anyone tries to have sex with her can be charged with sexual assault or rape.

Headley said, "She had previously engaged in risky behavior with a number of people, and she should be protected from potentially exploitative and damaging relations in future. It is strange, but nevertheless true, that even the freedom to make unwise decisions is one that the court is required to guard and only to restrict if and when the best interests of (the woman) so require."
