Following the hearing aid fittings, recipients were transported to the Rock in Rio festival, where many were able to hear live music for the very first time.
The Starkey Hearing Foundation, which abides by the mission statement "So the World May Hear," fit more than 100,000 hearing aids annually to adults and children. "As a member of the Clinton Global Initiative. We have pledged to fit more than 1 million hearing aids to people in need this decade," they said.
