The baby has died, but the mother’s condition is stable, who is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.Rampur’s Chief Medical Officer S L Saraswat said, “The infant’s head got severed from its body as the doctor tried to pull it out. Prima facie, I have been told that the baby had already died inside the womb. Since the labor pain had started, the doctor decided to go for normal delivery instead of a surgery. The exact turn of events would be known after the detailed inquiry by Chief Medical Superintendent Dr Jyotsana Pant,”
