A new robot developed by a Japanese company can make coffee for its owner.
The Japanese company created Rapiro as a catalyst between robotics and Raspberry Pi.
The credit-card sized, Linux-based PC known as Raspberry Pi has been designed to work with the basic hardware of Rapiro, which allows people to program it to do many things, like manage calendar, to tell the weather, in addition to making the coffee, CNN reported.
Raspberry Pi has made the software easily customizable for people familiar with technology.
The humanoid robot can also be fitted with a camera, which will give it the ability to gather and store visual data; it also has 12 servo motors to help with mobility.
