A strap on tail for humans that wags when the wearer becomes excited has been created by a Japanese inventor.
The Tailly is fitted with sensors that monitor the wearer's pulse rate, so the faster the heart beat, the more it wags. When you calm down it swings more slowly.
Shota Ishiwatari, who designed the bizarre gadget, is hoping the Tailly will become the must-have accessory for 2013.
"Tailly is fun to wear to parties, while out with friends or playing with kids,' he said," he said.
"You could even wear Tailly on a date and express your true feelings through the wagging tail.
"Even better, your partner could also wear one, to add a level of subconscious communication between the two of you," he added.
