How Sex Triggered Transient Global Amnesia
A 54-year-old woman was rushed to emergency after she suddenly lost memory, an hour after having sex with her husband.
This condition, medically called as transient global amnesia, is extremely rare in which the victim experiences sudden memory loss for a short period.

The woman in question was confused and did not have any memory of what occurred in the 24 hours gone by. She was absentminded and confused after she had intimate relations with her husband.

MRI’s of the brain did not show anything unusual and there was no damage to the brain.

The exact cause of this sudden memory loss is not yet clear. Experts feel that increasing pressure inside the abdomen could have triggered memory loss. They are of the opinion that increase in pressure can resist the blood flowing down the jugular veins. This may have caused deoxygenated blood to be pushed back up the neck.

The lady was discharged after she regained her memory.
