Food cravings can throw a spanner in the works of famous diets and spoil the resolve of many who want to trim their weight in a bid to look and feel good both inside out.
Even though most are able to resist the temptation to eat, there are still some types of food that people find hard to resist. Research into this area has ranked some of the foods which we crave the most during our weight loss journey.

Chocolate was named as one of the foods that are really hard to resist. One out of two women felt that craving for chocolate spoilt much of their resolve in keeping with a weight loss diet.

31% of women found crisps irresistible and 27% of those who wanted to lose weight found it tough to stay a way from cheese. "Our research clearly shows that chocolates are the number one craving most dieting women find hard to resist, followed by crisps and cheese. Bread, Wine, Cakes, Biscuits, Sweets, Chinese meal, Indian meal are also some of the foods which induced craving during a weight loss diet programme."

“We know that going on a diet can be a challenge for many women and cutting out all the things you crave can lead to failure. The real test of a diet is not just losing a few pounds quickly, but taking small steps and making small changes to your lifestyle and diet that last for years and can make a big difference," researchers said.
