The researchers put forth their work at a conference held at Chicago.

Mr. Jason McConville of the University of Texas at Austin, stated, “We found these strips to be non-toxic, which has huge potential for anyone who burns their mouth while eating and drinking hot foods--and that’s just about everyone.”

Diagnosis and Treatment of Bleeding Gums
A dentist usually assesses the bleeding gums to find out the exact cause. Proper dental hygeine, vitamin supplements and other treatment options are advised.

The scientists said that these strips are quite identical to breath freshening strips in appearance and behaviour.

The strip has local anaesthetic benzocaine and a polymer that helps in healing. Benzocaine is a topical pain reliving agent. It is widely used in dental products such as lozenges.

Taste of Coffee - Aroma, Flavor and Taste
Coffee depending on the regions where it is cultivated and the type of roasting process can have its own special aroma, flavor and taste making each type a unique drink.

The strip when applied to the affected region does not interfere with the daily activities as it dissolves quickly.

McConville, and his team at the University of New Mexico are now working on creating a stronger strip that will be capable of treating more severe burns.

Electronic Cigarette Explodes in Man’s Mouth
A 57-year old man in Florida suffered local burns after his electronic cigarette exploded in his mouth.

The scientists said that at present, the strip available is mango flavoured, but very soon, strips will be available in various other flavours.
