Health Care Plan Will Work in Spite of the Opposition Obama Faces
Many of the politicians from Washington and in fact many states in USA have shown strong opposition to the president Obama. Despite the resentment that Obama has faced - he has gone ahead to improve the lot of the citizens of America. He did the same on the issue of the economy of the country. Now he wants all the people of America to be covered by health insurance.
His detractors have done everything possible to show their disapproval against The Affordable Care law or “Obamacare’ but could not detract the president from forging ahead.

Texas has the most number of uninsured people in the United States and the governor Rick Perry refused to participate in setting up the insurance exchanges and tried to put the roadblocks when the federal government stepped in to help people get health insurance here. Kathleen Sebelius – secretary of Health and Human Services found on her visit to Texas, that government officials were the ones who were hindering people from signing up and also blocking navigators from getting information to the people. In fact they were spreading misinformation.

It has been a known fact that the opposing politicians have been worried that Obamacare would be a success. Though it is too early to predict the success of the Affordable Care Act, the president has definitely made it possible for the citizens of America to have health insurance. A recent Washington Post/ABC poll shows that 49% support the health law while 48% oppose it. The poll indicates that 76 percent of Democrats (up 11 percent since January) support the law, while 79 percent of Republicans oppose it.

Republicans have been counting on negative feelings about the ACA to be the dominant issue in this year's midterm elections. They wish to capture a majority in the Senate and thus increase their numbers in the House. If that were to happen, they most certainly would be even more of a hindrance to this president and to what is in the best interest of the country.
