Haryana Government Plans To Open AYUSH Centers In All 21 Districts

Centers for AYUSH system of medicine would be opened in all 21 districts of Haryana, said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

"To promote this system of medicine in a big way and benefit a large number of people, these centers will be opened," Khattar said speaking at a civic reception function organized to honor Himachal Pradesh Governor, Acharya Dev Vrat at educational institution 'Gurukul Kurukshetra'.

National Ayush Mission aims in upgradation of Ayush health delivery systems, quality control of Ayush drugs and promotion of medicinal plants in the state.

Greeting the people of the state and Acharya Dev Vrat on the occasion of 'Raksha Bandhan' festival, the Chief Minister urged the people to imbibe good habits and values.

Khattar urged people to render selfless service to the society and work with dedication for the development of the country.

Referring to poor examination results of Class X and XII of government schools in the state, Khattar said the state government has decided that if good educational institutes adopt government schools and improve their standard of education, government would provide them facilities to achieve the objective.

The government plans to take the traditional practice to every village and will post ayurvedic doctors at the primary health centers in rural areas.

"The government is of the view that every child should get free and better education," he added.

Acharya Dev Vrat said that 'Gurukul' is amongst the leading educational institutes.

The institute, approved by the government, will be an apex Ayurveda referral center, and will also impart education in the field of Ayurveda.

He said that he would make all efforts to perform the duty assigned to him by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Governor said he has issued direction for use of Hindi language in all offices of Himachal Pradesh and urged Khattar to do the same in Haryana too.
