Gardening may Help Keep the Doctor Away
Professor Geoff Beattie from Manchester University has said that spending some time in the green environment of a garden is very helpful and can help people stay away from doctors. //
"Gardening itself is a good physical activity, in addition, it has got the desired characteristic of taking you out of yourself, caring and nurturing and thinking about something else and again, you are tending to spend prolonged periods of time in a natural environment," said Professor Beattie.

Recent research from Ronseal has indicated that many Brits risk compromising their health by not spending enough time in the outdoors.

Professor Beattie agreed with this saying, "Natural environments elicit specific emotional reactions, which reduce levels of stress; they promote people's willingness to express positive views like joy and satisfaction."
