The woman died on Tuesday. There are 22 persons currently suffering from the virus, including eight fresh cases reported yesterday, says the national capital's health department.

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda has asked the people not to panic. He said hospitals are fully equipped to deal with swine flu.

The health department has started an orientation programme for staff of all 22 designated hospitals, including five privately-run hospitals.

These hospitals have been directed to follow the Health Ministry's guidelines for the treatment of swine flu.
