Eye2TV Adapter Improves TV Viewing Experience for Colorblind People
Spectral Edge together with University of East Anglia, United Kingdom, developed a smart HDMI adapter called Eye2TV. The device is designed to enhance the television viewing experience for colorblind users.
The device plugs into the HDMI //port of the television and has an HDMI input port of its own.

Any video source connected through the device will be automatically color corrected to help colorblind viewers have a more vivid experience. The device uses mathematical perception models that were developed at the University of East Anglia to work with static images and graphics.

A tiny modern graphic processing chips makes it available for video to identify and correct areas difficult for colorblind people to perceive.

The company claims that people with normal vision do not really see much difference in the corrected video, allowing everyone to watch the same screen together.

Eye2TV is currently being made available to television manufacturers to integrate it into their products, allowing users to select this feature from an on-screen menu.
