EU to Ban Sex Toys to Protect Environment
The European Union (EU) could soon ban sex toys like the famous Rampant Rabbit.
Green Euro MPs say the PVC used in electrical goods is harmful for the environment when it ends up at rubbish dumps.

While the move is largely aimed at mobile phones and white goods like dishwashers, it would also cover sex toys.

"Electrical goods end up in landfill sites, often in developing countries, and that is a problem. Sex toys would be included," News of the World quoted a European Parliament spokesman, as saying.

However, the British Plastics Foundation warns the move would cost the industry almost 1 billion pounds as it looks for an alternative to replace PVC.

UKIP chairman Paul Nuttall said: "Taking PVC out of electrical goods would cost millions... and cost the bedrooms of Britain a lot of fun."
