A new research has found that Estrogen deficiency can lead to obesity-induced high blood pressure following menopause.

A research team, which tested the idea that estrogen deficiency in aged females may set off the development of high blood pressure and obesity, has shown that the depletion of these female hormones can have the above mentioned effects.
