Geri Halliwell on Jan 2 told fans how Scary Spice tumbled down a set of stairs after a celebrity dinner at swanky London restaurant Claridge's.' Mel B got so drunk she fell down a flight of stairs and twisted her ankle, so she won't be busting the moves tonight,' the Mirror quoted Halliwell, as saying on stage at London's O2 Arena.
But despite one slip-up on stage, Mel B reportedly put on a stellar performance.
One fan said: 'Scary was certainly much more reserved. It was clear the injury was affecting her and she couldn't gyrate around the stage like normal.'
The star's injury is the latest ankle woe in the Spice camp, after bandmate Emma Bunton was left on crutches following a stage stumble in Vegas last year.
