Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had recently launched his chain of gyms, SportsFit, in Gurgaon and the 31-year old was in the national capital to unveil his fourth gym at the Ambience Mall.
SportsFit is a joint venture between Dhoni, Sajid Shamim and Pankaj Guliani and the trio has set a target of opening up 200 gyms and fitness centers across the country. The gym in New Delhi will be the flagship fitness center for the organization and has been built on an area more than 24,000 sq feet and cost more than Rs 6 crore.
AdvertisementThe fitness chain has already been attracting attention with the Gurgaon center already catering to more than 600 members while there have been franchise enquiries to set up gyms in Singapore and the Middle East.
Commenting on the successful start, Dhoni said, "We are extremely proud of the great feedback we have got for SportsFit so far. SportsFit is a pioneering concept where we aspire to achieve a complete workout aimed at overall fitness of patrons."
