Delhi has recorded 1,259 dengue cases, till September 5, 2015, the highest after 2010. Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said, "The dengue situation is under control." The minister has ordered the hospitals to purchase 1,000 new beds to ensure their availability for patients.
Health Minister Satyendra Jain took a stock of the dengue menace in a high level meeting with top health officials including the regional health director, health secretary and representatives of hospitals.
