‘The national capital has recorded 14,889 cases and has broken its dengue records since 1996. October becomes the worst month as around 7,200 cases were recorded.’

"He was brought to the hospital in a critical condition on November 2 and had been undergoing treatment for dengue. He died on Nov 6," said a senior doctor at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.According to a recent municipal report,The number of dengue cases till now is 14,889 with over 7,200 of them being reported in October only. Till October 31, the number of houses found positive for mosquito breeding stands at 2,31,632, while the number of prosecution launched in the same period is nearly 23,000.
