Death of 28-Year-Old Due to Dengue Reignites Concerns Among Health Officials in New Delhi
After observing a decline of dengue cases, a new dengue death has reignited concerns among health officials in New Delhi.
A 28-Year-old man has died due to dengue at Ram Mohan Hospital in East Delhi. Sunil is a resident of Brahampuri in East Delhi.With this death, the unofficial figure of dengue victims went up to 43. However the official toll in East Delhi still remains 32.

"He was brought to the hospital in a critical condition on November 2 and had been undergoing treatment for dengue. He died on Nov 6," said a senior doctor at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

According to a recent municipal report,The number of dengue cases till now is 14,889 with over 7,200 of them being reported in October only. Till October 31, the number of houses found positive for mosquito breeding stands at 2,31,632, while the number of prosecution launched in the same period is nearly 23,000.
