An undercover BBC investigation confirmed the works of a spiritual healer who had made lofty claims about a special diet that is capable of treating cancer. This has been condemned by medical experts who have cautioned people of this "dangerous advice".
Calling it 'Dhaxem healing', Dr Corascendea Cathar, 62, reveals in her website that the treatment has the capacity to battle tumors. She does not have any medical degree but she gives her patients a Ģ90 dietary menu which includes vegetable juice and a herbal mixture. Her consultation charges are Ģ280 per session.
According to Cancer Research UK, this treatment holds no benefits for cancer sufferers.
Experts are pretty annoyed with such claims. One of them said, "It makes me feel really angry when I heard what she was saying today. I just so hope that people aren't taken for it and that she stops what she is doing immediately."
'Dhaxem and Cancer', an article on the lady's website inspires cancer patients to look for their spirit guides to heal them of the disease.
"Cancer is not a tragedy, and neither is it a curse - it is an experience. Cancer starts in the Soul, prior to incarnation, and its purpose is to heal the Soul. Embracing the experience and taking a positive stance is the only constructive way forward. The way in which cancer affects the person will depend on what each Soul needs to derive from the experience."
