By Advertising for 'Marijuana Critic,' Tabloid Accused of 'Glorifying Drugs'

After publishing an advertisement for the position of a medical marijuana critic, a local tabloid in Southern Arizona has sparked outrage.

Till now, only seven people have applied for the controversial position in 'Tuscon Weekly', which has been accused of glorifying drug use.

However, the paper defended itself on grounds that the critic will help the unwell people in the community find out which medical marijuana businesses are the most legitimate.

The advertisement stated that the applicants must have a legitimate condition, which allows the use of medical marijuana, a clean driver's licence and some writing experience.

Despite the cold response to the ad, Jimmy Boegle, the paper's editor insisted the position would provide a valuable service for the community.

He further said that the accusation of being irresponsible by advertising for a drug reviewer was just 'social stigmatism'.
