Bush Senior Continues to Remain Hospitalized

Former US President George H.W. Bush remained in the hospital on Wednesday even though the fever which initially prompted hospital admission over Christmas has now subsided.

According to The Houston Chronicle, Bush's spokesperson Jim McGrath said doctors at the Houston hospital where Bush has been treated for a month remain "cautiously optimistic" that the ex-president will recover, Xinhua reported.
