Lack of uninterrupted sleep can increase the risk of memory loss, Alzheimer's and alcoholism, a recent study has revealed.
Scientists found that while continuity of sleep does a world of good for memory, interrupted sleep can cause problems with remembering familiar objects.

Sleep deprivation hampers the quality of sleep.

This research has paved the way for a detailed study of memory impairment associated with ageing.
