Pop star Britney Spears may be eyeing the silver screen as a means to bounce back and get her life back on track.
Though 2007 has been a bad year for the ‘Toxic’ singer, she is determined to recover in the coming year with a new role, which had originally been viewed as being perfect for one of her showbiz pals, Lindsay Lohan.Lohan had initially been chosen to play the girlfriend of a troubled mental-illness patient in Memoirs of a Medicated Child.
However, producers have now realized the massive pulling power of Spears, and thus are contemplating ditching Lohan.
"As far as Britney's concerned, we're talking," Contactmusic quoted director Tommy Parker, as telling the New York Post.
