Botox, an injection that contains permissible and a safe form of botulism, is injected into the face, and actually works by temporarily paralyzing the muscle. This is thought to make the skin look younger as it reduces wrinkles. This procedure is quite popular among 40-year olds, in their quest of youth. Most people who have taken these injections say they experience no sensation when they are injected. But, now Botox is really happening among young clients and they seem to be taking Botox injections on their foreheads, between the brows and around the eyes.

Experts warn that when people start such cosmetic procedures early, it can actually fuel psychological problems. It can adversely impact emotions as well as the bank balance as each procedure costs about $200 per area. Further, botox injections are not a onetime affair.

Experts advice that obsessing about appearance and looks can be the start of psychological problems like low self esteem.
