Asking Men to Pay for Prostate Cancer Screening Not Sexist, Canada Tribunal Rules

Is it not sex discrimination in reverse if men are asked to pay for prostate specific antigen (PSA) tests while women get mammograms and Pap smears for free?

Well, the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal in Canada says no. Its rejection of the claim of discrimination filed by a lawyer was made known Thursday last.

Laurence Armstrong, the unsuccessful petitioner told CBC News that he was annoyed at having to pay $30 for every PSA test recommended by his doctor.
