The 26-year old told a pal during a phone conversation just before she fled to Mexico last week that she would ‘not go to the nut house’, and warned that she would take drastic measures if her parents tried to force her.
"They're not sending me to the nut house! No one can make me go if I don't want to go - and I ain't goin'," the Mirror quoted her, as reportedly saying during the conversation.
"I'll kill myself before I let them lock me up again. So tell Mama and Daddy I said so. Oh, my God, it's over for me," she added.
Britney’s latest outburst came in the wake of the confrontation at her Beverly Hills home when she was taken to Cedars - Senai hospital tied to a gurney.
Her father Jamie rushed to her side, and is said to have pleaded with her to seek help. However, she reportedly told him: "You're not going to lock me up. You can forget it. I'm not going."
In the meantime, a judge decided to keep the singer’s custody rights to her kids suspended until a further hearing on February 19.
