X-ray Showing the Many Items Ingested by Patients Baffle Doctors

An interesting book titled, "Stuck Up: 100 Objects Inserted and Ingested in Places They Shouldn't Be," co-authored by an emergency room physician and two other doctors has created a sensation in medical circles. The X-rays show that patients have managed to ingest or insert strange things into their body.

This has baffled many doctors who have found objects such as a gun, dolls, an iPod in the x-rays. The book also reveals that though we believe at most times that such an occurrence is an accident, most of the time it may not be the case.
