World’s Seven Billionth Baby Born in Philippines

The world's population has touched 7 billion today with the birth of a baby girl born in Philippines on Sunday night at a government hospital.

It is indeed celebration time as Manila opened its arms to welcome the seven billionth baby.

The baby, named as Danica May Camacho is the second child of her parents. She weighed 2.5 kilos at birth.

Eminent people from the United Nations met the baby and her parents.

The child also received a scholarship grant for her study and her parents were given monetary assistance to enable them start a business for their livelihood.
