An unusual photography workshop was conducted at the Shankara Eye Hospital in which 15 blind kids took part, snapping out image and image with a smile on their face.
The workshop, held as part of the World Sight Day, was conducted by Beyond Sight Foundation's Partho Bhowmick along with Shankara Eye Hospital's consultant paediatric ophthalmologist, Kaushik Murali.
AdvertisementDr Murali said that the participants were made to feel the object in order to ascertain the central point of focus before snapping the image.
"We wanted them to know that blindness is not the end of the road. It was meant to empower the blind and create awareness about it", he said.
