In some stunning news, a mother has given birth to a healthy baby boy after enduring 20 days of labour.
17 year-old Amy Buck went into labour almost five months prematurely and endured pains for almost 3 weeks before giving birth to Daniel. Amy was admitted to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on May 4 last year and Daniel was born on May 24. The boy was just five months old and spent five months in the ICU where he was treated for lung disease and eye disease.

Daniel was given 15 per cent chance of survival by doctors, but is today a healthy 17lbs and has also celebrated his first birthday. 'Looking at him now, I realise he he's little miracle and a little fighter. So many times I thought I was going to lose him. He's supposed to be eight half months old now and he shouldn't even be doing what he's doing," says Amy.
Doctors fell that Amy's waters partially broke very early in the pregnancy and an infection got into the womb and hence she went into premature labour.
