A poll of 70,000 people found 50 percent of men admitting that they would give up on a partner who gained weight, as compared to 20 percent of women.

On the one hand, it might push women to become fit and shapely to keep their men from losing interest. While some others may just feel discouraged about the whole thing.

The only saving grace is that, though most men prefer physically attractive and shapely women, family and relationships is still high priority among them.
