Quite often, we do not realize how each of our steps can make a difference. Fortunately, Mr. Praveen Kumar Nedungudi, COO of Messrs. Incredible India Projects Pvt. Ltd., knew very well about the importance of those steps.

Incredible India, a real estate company, celebrated its second anniversary on 28th August 2009, and Praveen had decided that they will celebrate the event “with a difference”. He ensured that all his employees got involved in a social cause and does something that will make each of them proud of their contribution.

At 7.00 am sharp, 250 employees turned up at the office and each one wore a white T-shirt, that read “I support Organ Donation” on the rear. Honourable Minister for Labour & Employment, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Venkat Reddy arrived at 7.15 am., and was appraised of the cause of organ donation by Dr. Sahariah, eminent Renal Transplant Surgeon and Mr. Raghuram, CEO of MOHAN Foundation.  The other guests were Mr. Swaranjit Singh, Coach for the Deccan Chargers cricket team, and Mr. Mukesh Kumar, popular hockey player.  All the guests spoke enthusiastically about the importance of organ donation, and pledged to donate their organs by signing on the banner of “Donor Card”.  They promised that they would do everything to support the cause of giving “Life”.

At 8.30 am., all the employees along with MOHAN Foundation team walked around Marredpally, YMCA, Picket, and AOC Centre area, and returned to the office of Incredible India.  On the way, students of St. Andrew’s School joined the Rally, and distributed brochures on organ donation to pedestrians and passers by.

Finally, each of the employees of Incredible India signed the “Donor Card”, and pledged their whole hearted support to the cause of organ donation.

Every employee went back with a feeling that the one hour “Walk” has not only made a difference to the society, but in them also.
