American student Natalie Dylan, who has gotten offers of up to 2.6 million pounds for her virginity at auction, has confessed that she has had sexual experiences with men but that she is still a virgin.
Dylan, 22, who came up with the idea of auctioning off her virginity to pay for her studies, had sparked outrage with both genders, who questioned her self worth.
"I'm not trying to prove to the world that I'm still a virgin," the Sun quoted her as saying.
"I've passed two unbiased lie detector tests to prove it.
"I am a sexual person and I've had sexual encounters - both casual and with a boyfriend. But I've abstained from sexual intercourse.
"Yes, I've had long serious boyfriends and for whatever reasons we decided to wait," she stated.
After an Australian businessman made a bid of 2.6million pounds to sleep with her, Dylan defended her action after she was told that it was degrading to women.
"I expected a lot of people to condemn me for my decision," she said.
"But I'm not hurting anyone. I'm not breaking any laws. Hitmen make a lot of money but I would never do that.
"And I'm not going against any of my own morals. I've never looked down on prostitution, I just never thought I'd go into it.
"I'm a very pro-choice person. I think everyone should do what they think is right with their body," she added.
