Uttar Pradesh Imposes Ban on Over 50 Medicines
The Uttar Pradesh government has imposed a ban on 57 medicines found to be substandard. These medicines were manufactured by 39 companies.


Additional Director of Health Department Dr G C Chaturvedi revealed that Chief Medical Officers in the state had been asked to seize the banned drugs with immediate effect.

"The Health Department has decided to ban 57 drugs after their samples were found below standard," he added.
