Many may disagree on this, but a new Brit survey has found that most men rely on their spouses or mothers for advice on what clothes to buy.
Almost two-thirds of them admitted to seeking guidance from a woman when shopping in menswear stores.
And 48 per cent allow their other halves to choose or buy their clothes.
VisitBirmingham.com carried out the survey of more than 1,000 men across the country in the run-up to Christmas.
"Men find it intimidating because they don't always know what they are looking for or what will complement their shape," the Daily Express quoted Menswear designer Neil Fennell as saying.
