Transplant Coordination Program in Hyderabad— Day VI

On the last day of the week long Training program conducted by Mohan Foundation, Dr Sunil Shroff, Founder Trustee, MOHAN Foundation spoke on Transport Logistics and forms. He also showed videos on Kidney donation procedures and transplantation. He took feedback from all the participants and said all the trainees were now part of the MOHAN Family. He informed that they would be organizing meeting regularly on the second Saturday of each month where the trainees would be welcome to present case histories and discuss difficult situations.

The afternoon session was held at Hotel Golcunda for distribution of certificates and felicitation of the faculty along with high tea. Mr J. Satya Narayana, Health Secretary of Andhra Pradesh was the Chief Guest for the afternoon. Mrs. Raghuram welcomed the gathering, Dr.Shroff spoke about activities of MOHAN Foundation and the Faculty and participants gave their feedback about the Transplant Coordination Training Course. They were all very happy and enthusiastic about the program and their experience with the new course.

The Health Secretary was very impressed with the candidates and wished them success in this important program. He informed the gathering about the Andhra Pradesh Cadaver program document that would be presented to the Chief Minister on World Kidney Day on the 11^th of March. The faculty was felicitated and certificates were distributed to all 40 participants who attended the training program. The events of the day came to a close with high tea at 3.30 pm.
