Singer Toni Braxton was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital for chest pains on April 7, it has emerged.
The 40-year-old "Un-Break My Heart" singer, who is in Vegas headlining a five-nights-a-week show at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino, is listed in good condition at present.
A spokeswoman for Braxton said that she is expected to be released soon.
However, according to a Flamingo rep, Braxton won't be able to go on with her Revealed show immediately.
"We wish Toni a quick recovery and would like her to take the time she needs to regain optimal health. We are looking forward to her return at the end of the week," the New York Daily News quoted Don Marrandino, the resort's president, as saying.
The cause of the chest pain was not immediately known. But Braxton has a heart condition called pericarditis, which she found out about after she gave birth to her second son.
Since the disclosure, Braxton has been named a spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.
