The actress said a nasal septum deviation is to blame for Burton's snores, but he won't undergo operation to fix the problem.

"Tim does snore, and that's an element (of our living situation). We've tried lots of remedies that don't work. He has a deviated septum and doesn't want an operation," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

The couple lives together in London in two adjoining houses, which allows them to spend some time apart if needed and Helena has admitted that Burton's snoring is one of the reasons why she likes having her own space.

I wonder if he's tried one of those mouth-dental appliances. I don't think surgery or even a CPAP is necessary. Especially with people that aren't really overweight like him and me. I got a cheapie mouthpiece off of amazon. I couldn't even tell you the brand. Anyway, it took a few weeks to get used to, but it totally made a difference and my wife can sleep right next to me all night now. If you are interested, you can check out my blog where I talk about how it worked out for me at stoppedsnoring -dot- com. If Tim Burton tried what I found, I bet he would have some luck dealing with the snoring. -Sal
