Teri Hatcher Hits Back at Cosmetic Firm That Sued Her

Hollywood star Teri Hatcher has finally come out of her shell and spoken against the lawsuit filed against her.

The 42-year-old was sued by Hydroderm, a skin-care company for breach-of-contract for wrongfully promoting another’s firm.

In response to the 2.8 million dollar lawsuit, the actress in her legal response stated that she had “done absolutely nothing wrong" in her endorsement deal with company.

"Contrary to the wild and unsupportable allegations of [Hydroderm], Ms. Hatcher has not entered into agreements with any other cosmetic or skincare companies," People quoted Hatcher, as stating in her legal response.

Hatcher argues that Hydroderm has recently gone through two ownership and management changes, and "failed to move the endorsement program forward due to its own corporate paralysis."

According to the complaint, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the actress had made a deal with Hydroderm in November 2005 to advertise the benefits of the company's line of aging antidotes. Then, despite their contract's no-competition clause, Hatcher got on board with City Cosmetics as well.

The company claimed that Hatcher had signed an agreement with City Cosmetics beforehand, and Hydroderm wouldn't have entertained her as a celebrity sponsor if it had known about the deal.
